🔩 Design and Durability
The metal construction is this product’s main advantage and sets it apart from standard plastic palettes:
-
Chemical Resistance: Thanksto their material, the pans are completely inert and resistant to aggressive paint-based thinners and solvents (e.g., Mr. Color Thinner, enamel thinners). You can therefore use them to thin and mix all types of paints (varnishes, acrylics, enamels) without worrying about damage or chemical reactions.
-
Reusable: Unlike disposable plastic alternatives, these metal pans are designed for repeated use. After use, simply clean them with the appropriate thinner.
-
Compact and Practical: The pans are the ideal size for dispensing small amounts of paint from a bottle (e.g., 10 ml Mr. Color), which minimizes waste and makes it easier to prepare paints for airbrushing or brush detailing.
-
Separation: The set of 10 pans allows modelers to have 10 different color mixtures, thinners, or washes ready at the same time, which speeds up the workflow.
💡 Benefits for Precise Work
-
Precise Dilution: They allow you to measure out the exact number of drops of paint and thinner.
-
Stability: A metal bowl is more stable than a lightweight plastic palette, reducing the risk of accidental tipping.
