Model Kit tank MD007 - TYPE 97 CHI-HA EARLY PRODUCTION (1:35)
Dragon MD007 Type 97 Chi-Ha Early Production is a 1/35 plastic kit of the Japanese Second World War medium tank. It is released in the MONO / Dragon Tank of the World range.
The Type 97 Chi-Ha was the most widely used medium tank of the Imperial Japanese Army. It entered service in the late 1930s and in its early form carried a short 57 mm gun in the turret, intended mainly for infantry support. The tanks fought in China, South-East Asia and the Pacific.
The MONO / Dragon kit from the Tank of the World range depicts the early production Chi-Ha. The box art shows the tank in multi-colour camouflage with the characteristic frame aerial around the turret and the commander in the turret hatch.
The densely riveted surfaces and the unusual turret shape give the model a distinctive character for a collection or a diorama of the fighting in Asia. Paints and glues required for assembly are not included.
