Legiones Astartes: Deimos Pattern Rhino

The Deimos Pattern Rhino is one of the oldest and most widely used armored personnel carriers used by the Space Marines during the Great Heresy. This rugged machine was manufactured on Mars and its moon Deimos before the formation of the Empire, and became the cornerstone of the Legiones Astartes mechanized infantry. The Rhino allows combat troops to move quickly across the battlefield, protecting them from enemy fire and providing the mobility needed for lightning attacks and tactical movement.

The Deimos Pattern features a more archaic design than the later Rhino variants known from the Warhammer 40,000 era. The model captures the distinctive features of this earlier design, including the specific shaping of the armor plates, chassis details, and armament. The transporter can be armed with a variety of weapon systems and is capable of transporting an entire tactical unit of Space Marines right into the heart of enemy lines.

The kit contains 102 plastic components allowing the assembly of a complete vehicle model including details such as access ramps, armour plates, exhaust systems and other technical features. Also included is a re-sticker kit for Legiones Astartes vehicles, allowing you to customize the appearance of the transporter to a specific legion - whether loyalist or treacherous.

The model is designed to scale to match Warhammer: The Horus Heresy and offers a wide range of options for detailed painting, including highlighting armor plates, battle damage, legion symbols and other identifying features. Rhino is suitable for in-game use in Legiones Astartes armies, as a stand-alone modeling project, or as a showcase exhibit for fans of the Warhammer universe.

For full use of the model in game, the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - Age of Darkness rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or the Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book are required. The package does not include the paints or glue needed to assemble - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
