Information about the original:
Fiat produced the "Nuova 500" model from 1957 to 1975. It is a true icon on four wheels and one of the symbols of "Made in Italy." Its unique and recognizable design is known throughout the world. When the Italian automaker launched this small car, it had a simple goal: to bring a new compact car to market at a very affordable price, capable of expanding its potential customer base. In addition, the new car was to be easy to handle, even in city traffic, and offer very low operating costs. The Fiat 500 was launched in July 1957 and was an immediate success. In 1965, the 500F version was introduced, which became the most-produced variant. The Fiat 500F was easily recognizable thanks to its front-opening doors; in compliance with new regulations, it incorporated several technical and aesthetic improvements, such as a new frame and a wider windshield. To this day, the Fiat 500F remains the “most classic” version in the entire 500 model lineup and holds a special place in the hearts of countless car enthusiasts.
