B-17G PART I 1/48 recommended for HKM
Eduard BIG49246 B-17G Part I 1/48 is a value Big Ed set of five accessories for the Hong Kong Models kit. The opening part of the series contains masks, photo-etch for the cockpit, nose and waist section, and STEEL seatbelts.

The focus is on the front of the aircraft: the cockpit with STEEL seatbelts and the nose interior are joined by a set for the waist section with its gun positions, plus masks. The series continues with BIG49255 and BIG49256. At first glance the G version differs from earlier Flying Fortresses in its remotely operated chin turret under the nose, intended to strengthen defence against head-on fighter attacks.
The base plastic kit is not included.
