AK Interactive AK1026 Russian Green Color Spray (150 ml) is a colored synthetic lacquer spray in the shade Russian Green. It is suitable for Soviet and Russian military equipment from World War II and the modern era, and generally for quickly painting models, figures, vehicles, terrain, and wargaming projects.
AK states that these sprays are very useful for both small and large surfaces, cure quickly, are highly durable, and, once dry, are not affected by standard acrylic paints, enamels, or even more intense weathering.
Recommended Procedure
- Clean and degrease the surface, then let it dry completely. Degreasing is especially important for resin and metal parts.
- Shake the can for at least one minute to ensure the pigment and binder are thoroughly mixed.
- Spray several quick, thin coats from a distance of approximately 20–30 cm. A thick coat may obscure details or run.
- Allow the surface to air dry briefly between coats. Let the paint cure completely before masking, applying decals, washes, or additional patina.
- When finished, turn the can upside down and spray briefly until no more paint comes out of the nozzle. This will help prevent the nozzle from clogging.
