1/72 P-40N Warhawk one-sided painting mask for Special Hobby
ASK masks for the P-40N Warhawk from the Special Hobby kit in 1/72 scale, in a one-sided self-adhesive version. They cover the windscreen and framed canopy from the outside, and ring masks complete the sheet.
The masks are an in-house ASK design, drawn directly for the clear parts of the Special Hobby P-40N Warhawk kit in 1/72 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M72012 from the SCALE MASK range holds fourteen numbered masks for the windscreen panes and the individual panels of the framed canopy, plus four large ring masks numbered 20 and two small ones numbered 15. The one-sided set covers the glazing from the outside and is shaped for the Special Hobby kit in 1/72 scale.
The P-40N was the final production version of the Warhawk. It had a stretched rear fuselage and a rear deck cut down behind the cockpit to improve the rearward view. In Europe it was used mainly for ground attack by 1944, and with 553 aircraft it was the most widely used P-40 variant in the Royal Australian Air Force.
