1/72 F-4B/C/D/N Phantom II double-sided painting mask for Hasegawa / Hobby2000
ASK masks in 1/72 scale for the Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 F-4B/C/D/N Phantom II, made as a double-sided self-adhesive set. Two sets cover the windscreen and both canopies inside and out, with circular masks added.
ASK designs the masks specifically for the parts of the F-4B/C/D/N Phantom II kits from Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 in 1/72 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M72010 from the SCALE MASK range carries two identically shaped groups of masks – 1–9 and 10–18 – for the windscreen, the front and rear canopy frames and smaller panes; one group is for the outer side of the glazing, the other for the inner side. The vertical strip on the right holds circular masks labelled with part numbers Q14 and Q15. The set is intended for the Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 kits in 1/72 scale.
The F-4B was the first definitive Phantom of the US Navy and Marine Corps, and the F-4C its US Air Force version. The F-4N was produced in 1972–1978 by updating 228 F-4Bs under Project Bee Line, gaining smokeless engines and F-4J aerodynamic improvements.
