1/72 de Havilland Vampire T.11 one-sided painting mask for Airfix
ASK masks in 1/72 scale for the Airfix de Havilland Vampire T.11, made as a one-sided self-adhesive set. Masks 1–9 cover the glazing of the two-seat cockpit, and the WHEELS section adds four wheel masks.
This set is ASK's own design, shaped to the clear parts of the Airfix de Havilland Vampire T.11 kit in 1/72 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M72031 from the SCALE MASK range contains nine numbered glazing masks: frame masks 1–4, smaller masks 5 and 6, and shaped masks 7–9. At the bottom of the sheet the WHEELS section holds four circular wheel masks, A6 and A7. The set is designed for the Airfix kit in 1/72 scale.
The DH.115 trainer was derived from the Vampire night fighter by removing the radar and fitting dual controls, and it entered RAF service as the Vampire T.11. Deliveries began in January 1952, and over 600 T.11s were built at Hatfield, Chester and by Fairey for the RAF and many overseas air forces.
