The Tempest Napier Sabre Engine (Upper Half) is a 1/48-scale resin conversion kit from CMK. For modelers who would like to build Eduard’s Tempest model with an exposed engine without sacrificing the Tempest’s signature feature—the large radiator—we have prepared a highly detailed upper half of the Sabre engine.

For modelers who would like to build Eduard’s Tempest model with an exposed engine without sacrificing the Tempest’s signature feature—the large radiator—we have created a highly detailed upper half of the Sabre engine. The set was designed in 3D, and the master was printed on a 3D printer. It also includes engine bulkheads and cowlings.
This is an add-on set; the plastic kit, paints, and glue are not included unless specifically stated by the manufacturer.
Recommended Use
- Degrease, clean, and dry-fit the part before assembly
- Use an adhesive suitable for resin
- We recommend applying a primer before painting
- Model paints, brushes, or an airbrush are suitable for finishing
