1/48 Tempest Mk.V double-sided express mask for Eduard
Double-sided ASK Express masks for the Eduard Hawker Tempest Mk.V in 1/48 scale. The set covers the canopy glazing on both sides, the wheels and the round clear parts.
Sheet ASK 200-M48051 from the SCALE MASK range is clearly divided: an EXTERIOR section with masks 1–5 for the outer side of the windscreen and canopy, an INTERIOR section with masks 6–10 for the inner side, a CLEAR PARTS section for clear parts A1, A2, A3 and A7, and a WHEELS section with wheel masks D8 and D16.
The Hawker Tempest V was powered by a Napier Sabre engine and armed with four 20 mm cannon. In 1944 it was one of the main RAF fighters used against the V-1 flying bomb, and it fought over Western Europe until the end of the war. The mask shapes follow the clear parts of the Eduard Tempest Mk.V kit in 1/48 scale.
