1/48 N1K1-Ja Shiden one-sided mask self-adhesive pre-cut for Tamiya
One-sided self-adhesive pre-cut ASK masks for the Tamiya Kawanishi N1K1-Ja Shiden in 1/48 scale. They cover the outside of the canopy panes, with a WHEELS section as well.
Sheet ASK 200-M48086 from the SCALE MASK range contains masks 1–17: shaped windscreen masks, rectangular masks for the individual panes of the framed canopy and four long, tapering masks 14–17. The WHEELS section carries four circular A4 wheel masks. The double-sided version is 200-M48087.
The Kawanishi N1K1-J Shiden (Allied codename George) was a land-based Imperial Japanese Navy fighter derived from the Kyofu floatplane fighter. The mid-wing layout inherited from the floatplane called for a long main undercarriage. The N1K1-Ja carried only four 20 mm cannon in the wings. The masks are intended for the Tamiya N1K1-Ja Shiden kit in 1/48 scale.
