1/48 Mil Mi-17 Hip one-sided express mask for AMK
ASK masks for the AMK Mi-17 Hip helicopter in 1/48 scale, in the one-sided self-adhesive Express version. The numbered masks cover the outer side of the cockpit glazing and windows.
ASK designs the masks specifically for the parts of the AMK Mi-17 Hip kit in 1/48 scale. The Mi-17, the export form of the Soviet Mil Mi-8MT, received more powerful TV3-117 engines and a tail rotor on the port side of the tail boom. Its NATO reporting name is Hip; the Mi-8MT entered service in 1977 and the Mi-17 in 1981.
Sheet ASK 200-M48133 from the SCALE MASK range contains masks 1–28 for the outer side of the clear parts – large masks for the front and side cockpit panels, shaped strips and a series of circular masks. The layout matches the exterior section of the double-sided set 200-M48132. The masks are intended for the AMK kit in 1/48 scale.
