This 1/48 CMK detail set allows the Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden from the Hasegawa kit to be displayed with its wing gun bays open. Resin castings depict the cannon bays and ammunition magazines, while photo-etched parts add the internal structure of the open bays.
The J2M Raiden (Allied codename Jack) was a land-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy, intended mainly to intercept American bombers in the final phase of World War II. Its heavy wing-mounted cannon armament is characteristic of the type. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included.
