1/48 J2M3 Raiden double-sided express mask, self-adhesive and pre-cut for Hasegawa
ASK masks in a double-sided self-adhesive Express version, made for the Hasegawa J2M3 Raiden in 1/48 scale. The EXTERIOR and INTERIOR sections cover the cockpit glazing from both sides, the WHEELS section holds wheel masks.
The set is ASK's own design, engineered for one specific kit – the Hasegawa J2M3 Raiden in 1/48 scale. Double-sided set ASK 200-M48120 from the SCALE MASK range consists of one sheet with two identically shaped groups of masks – EXTERIOR 1–13 and INTERIOR 14–26 – and a WHEELS section with wheel masks marked with the Hasegawa kit part numbers (G1, G4, G7). The one-sided version is 200-M48121.
The Mitsubishi J2M Raiden, codenamed Jack by the Allies, was a land-based Imperial Japanese Navy interceptor intended to counter bombers. It traded agility for speed and rate of climb; its Kasei radial engine sat beneath a long, streamlined cowling. The masks are shaped for the Hasegawa plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
