1/48 F/A-18F one-sided express fit mask for Italeri
ASK masks for the Italeri F/A-18F in 1/48 scale, in the one-sided Express Fit version. Long frame strips trace the edges of the windscreen and two-seat canopy, with ring masks completing the sheet.
ASK developed the set in-house, directly for the parts of the Italeri F/A-18F kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48175 from the SCALE MASK range carries ten long angled and curved frame strips (1–10) that follow the edges of the windscreen and the large canopy. They are joined by the small circular mask 11 and ring masks in two sizes (12 and 14). The one-sided layout is intended for the outer face; the double-sided version is 200-M48176.
The Boeing F/A-18F is the tandem-seat version of the Super Hornet carrier-based multirole aircraft. With the US Navy it replaced types including the F-14 Tomcat and A-6 Intruder, and it is also flown by the Royal Australian Air Force. The masks are shaped for the Italeri F/A-18F kit in 1/48 scale.
