1/48 F/A-18F double-sided express fit mask for Italeri
ASK masks in a double-sided Express Fit version, made for the Italeri F/A-18F in 1/48 scale. Two groups of frame strips cover the windscreen and canopy edges inside and out, with ring masks added.
ASK takes the mask shapes straight from the clear parts of the Italeri kit in 1/48 scale; the set is ASK's own design. Sheet ASK 200-M48176 from the SCALE MASK range carries two groups of long frame strips tracing the edges of the windscreen and canopy – 1–10 for the outer and 15–24 for the inner side. They come with the small circular mask 11 and ring masks 12 and 14. The one-sided version is 200-M48175.
The Super Hornet was developed as an enlarged and redesigned successor to the Hornet, and the two-seat F flies from US Navy carriers with a crew of two. Its airframe is also the basis of the EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft. The masks are intended for the Italeri F/A-18F kit in 1/48 scale.
