1/48 F/A-18E double-sided painting mask for Meng
ASK masks for the Meng F/A-18E Super Hornet plastic kit in 1/48 scale are double-sided. Frame masks cover the windscreen and canopy inside and out, and four wheel masks are included.
This is an in-house ASK design: the mask shapes are taken directly from the clear parts of the 1/48 Meng F/A-18E Super Hornet kit. Sheet ASK 200-M48025 from the SCALE MASK range (DOUBLE-SIDED) carries two groups of long frame masks tracing the edges of the windscreen and canopy – one for the outer and one for the inner side. The CLEAR PARTS section holds masks for two small transparencies and the WHEELS section four circular wheel masks.
The F/A-18E Super Hornet is the single-seat version of the enlarged and redesigned Hornet, used by the US Navy since around the turn of the millennium as its main carrier-based multirole aircraft. The masks are shaped for the Meng kit in 1/48 scale.
