1/48 F-35B Lightning II double-sided express fit mask for Tamiya
ASK masks for the Tamiya F-35B Lightning II in 1/48 scale come as a double-sided Express Fit set. Numbered masks cover the cockpit glazing inside and out, and the sheet also carries large ring-shaped masks.
ASK drew up these masks itself, directly for the parts of the Tamiya F-35B Lightning II kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48211 from the SCALE MASK range carries outline strips and small shaped masks with lower numbers, plus the group 21–32 with matching shapes – one set for the outer and one for the inner side of the glazing, so the frames visible from the cockpit stay clean as well. Four large ring-shaped masks numbered 20 sit along the edge. The one-sided version is 200-M48212.
The F-35B is the short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) variant of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, an American single-seat stealth multirole fighter. Besides the USA it is operated by the United Kingdom, Italy and Japan. The masks are shaped for the Tamiya kit in 1/48 scale.
