1/48 Bristol Blenheim Mk.I one-sided painting mask for Airfix
ASK masks for the Airfix Bristol Blenheim Mk.I plastic kit in 1/48 scale are one-sided. They cover the glazed nose with the cockpit and further clear parts from outside; four wheel masks sit at the bottom of the sheet.
ASK drew up the set itself, targeting the parts of the Airfix Blenheim Mk.I kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48026 from the SCALE MASK range (ONE-SIDED) groups the masks into sections G3, G4, G5 and G6, joined by further numbered masks up to 45. The WHEELS section carries four circular wheel masks. The one-sided layout is meant for the outer face of the glazing.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British light bomber that joined RAF squadrons in March 1937 and was used extensively in the first two years of the Second World War. It was among the first British aircraft with all-metal stressed-skin construction, retractable undercarriage and a powered gun turret. The Mk.I had the short glazed nose; the masks are shaped for the Airfix kit in 1/48 scale.
