1/48 Bell AH-1G one-sided express mask for Special Hobby
ASK masks from the Express range for the Special Hobby Bell AH-1G in 1/48 scale are one-sided. They cover the outer side of the attack helicopter’s cockpit glazing, with circular masks as well.
This is an in-house ASK design: the mask shapes are taken directly from the clear parts of the 1/48 Special Hobby AH-1G kit. Sheet ASK 200-M48055 from the SCALE MASK range contains masks 1–10: shaped masks for the individual panels of the narrow tandem cockpit and two elongated masks, 9 and 10. Clear part E1 has its own mask, and at the bottom there is a WHEELS section with four circular D3 masks. The double-sided version is 200-M48056.
The Bell AH-1G HueyCobra was a dedicated attack helicopter, rapidly developed as an interim solution. It used the powertrain of the UH-1 Iroquois and was deployed by the US Army in Vietnam from 1967. The masks are intended for the Special Hobby AH-1G kit in 1/48 scale.
