1/48 AERO L-29 DELFIN one-sided express mask for AMK
ASK masks from the Express range for the AMK Aero L-29 Delfín plastic kit in 1/48 scale are one-sided. Masks 1–11 cover the outer side of the glazing over both seats of the tandem cockpit.
As its own design, ASK developed these masks specifically for the glazing of the 1/48 AMK L-29 Delfín kit. Sheet ASK 200-M48060 from the SCALE MASK range contains masks 1–11: frame and inner masks for the individual parts of the cockpit glazing, the oval masks 7 and 8, and the small round masks 10 and 11. The one-sided layout deals with the outer face of the glazing; the set that adds masks for the inner side is 200-M48061.
The Aero L-29 Delfín was a Czechoslovak jet trainer built by Aero Vodochody, first flown in 1959. It became the standard trainer of the Warsaw Pact air forces, and more than 3,600 were built. The masks are intended for the AMK L-29 Delfín kit in 1/48 scale.
