StuG III Ausf. G was the most widely used version of the Wehrmacht assault gun and formed the backbone of German anti-tank units from late 1942 until the end of the war. The variant produced by Alkett in February 1943 bore the hallmarks of the transition to later standards - including a new commander's sight and further armour modifications. The version with Winterketten tracks was designed for better traction on snow and icy terrain, especially on the Eastern Front.
MiniArt brings this variant in 1/35 scale with high attention to accuracy and detail. The kit captures the specifics of this production series, including realistically rendered Winterketten tracks, elaborate chassis, armament and combat equipment. The model provides an excellent basis for creating dioramas of the 1943 winter battle scenes.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
