The M3 Stuart Early Production 1/35th scale model represents an early World War II light tank. The kit includes a complete interior including engine, fighting compartment and turret, as well as many detailed parts and accessories. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The M3 Stuart light tank was designed and produced by the United States from 1941 and became one of the most widely used Allied armoured vehicles in the early stages of World War II. It was characterized by its high mobility, reliability and ease of operation. An early version of the M3 was deployed in both North Africa and the Pacific, where it served with both US Army and British and Allied forces, often under the nickname "Honey".
The model depicts an early production variant with a conventional riveted hull and a 37mm cannon. The kit offers a fully rendered interior - engine compartment with faithfully rendered powerplant, hull interior with instruments, seats and controls, and a fully equipped turret. Details such as ammunition, tools, external equipment and accurate scale give realistic appearance and allow the model to be placed in any diorama from the early stages of the war.
