1/32 USAF F-4E Phantom Viet-Nam war one-sided mask for Academy
ASK 1/32 F-4E Phantom II one-sided masks for the Academy ‘USAF F-4E Vietnam War’ plastic kit. They cover the outer face of the tandem cockpit glazing, and four circular masks complete the sheet.
Sheet ASK 200-M32029 from the SCALE MASK range carries numbered masks for the canopy under which the pilot and weapon systems officer sat in tandem, plus four concentric circular masks numbered 12 and 14. The one-sided layout is intended for the outer face of the panes; the double-sided set is 200-M32030.
The F-4E was the US Air Force version of the Phantom II with a built-in 20 mm M61A1 Vulcan cannon, which earlier versions lacked. USAF Phantoms were among the principal American aircraft of the Vietnam War. The masks are designed for the Academy kit in 1/32 scale.
