1/32 Tornado IDS double-sided express fit mask for Italeri
ASK Express Fit masks for the Tornado IDS in 1/32 scale, double-sided and intended for the Italeri plastic kit. Two sheets cover the windscreen and hinged canopy inside and out.
ASK designed both sheets itself, specifically for the windscreen and hinged canopy of the Italeri Tornado IDS kit in 1/32 scale. Set ASK 200-M32086 from the SCALE MASK range comes on two sheets. The upper one carries exterior masks for the large panes and outline strips for the frames (1–15), the lower one a matching set 18–31 for the inner side, including long shaped strips. The cockpit frames therefore stay clean from both sides; the one-sided version is 200-M32085.
The Tornado IDS was developed in the 1970s by the British-German-Italian Panavia consortium as a two-seat strike aircraft capable of low-level flight. The pilot and weapon systems officer sat in tandem under a single canopy. The masks are shaped for the Italeri kit in 1/32 scale.
