1/72 Polish pilot and ground crew 1939
The Polish Air Force entered World War II in September 1939 in an extremely difficult situation. Against the numerically and technically stronger Luftwaffe, it deployed available fighter, bomber, reconnaissance and liaison units, whose most famous machines included the PZL P.11, PZL P.7, PZL.23 Karaś and PZL.37 Łoś. In addition to the pilots themselves, mechanics and ground staff also played an important role in keeping the aircraft operational, often in field conditions and under the pressure of a rapidly changing frontline situation.
The IBG 1/72 Polish Pilot and Ground Crew 1939 set is a supplement dedicated to these personnel. It focuses on the Polish Air Force during the September campaign, one of the first chapters of World War II.
