1/72 Piaggio P.108B one-sided painting express mask for Special Hobby
ASK 1/72 Piaggio P.108B one-sided self-adhesive Express masks for the Special Hobby plastic kit. Masks numbered 1–78 cover the extensive glazing of the Italian four-engined bomber.
The Piaggio P.108 Bombardiere was the only four-engined strategic bomber used by Italy's Regia Aeronautica in the Second World War. Of the four versions designed, only the P.108B bomber was produced in any quantity before the armistice; its first prototype flew on 24 November 1939. On 7 August 1941 Bruno Mussolini, commander of the 274a Squadriglia, was killed flying one of the prototypes.
Sheet ASK 200-M72055 from the SCALE MASK range carries masks 1–78 (including 62b): dozens of rectangular and trapezoidal window masks, shaped glazing pieces, two small circular masks numbered 76 and four large ring masks numbered 77. The masks are shaped for the Special Hobby kit in 1/72 scale; the double-sided version is 200-M72056.
