Hobby Boss 1/72 P-47D Thunderbolt is a plastic kit of a fighter aircraft for assembly. This release depicts the later P-47D with bubble canopy and cut-down rear fuselage, which in 1944–1945 served above all as a fighter-bomber over Europe.
The Easy Assembly Authentic Kit has 39 parts. The wing and lower fuselage form a single part, reducing the number of main airframe joins. Decals cover the silver “Big Ass Bird” of the 513th FS, 406th FG shown on the box, and an aircraft of the 527th FS, 86th FG. The model is 154.5 mm long with a 173.8 mm wingspan. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
