The IBG Models 72U061 set contains seven 3D-printed MG 15 machine guns for Gotha Go 242 and Go 244 models in 1/72 scale. The parts reproduce perforated barrel jackets, magazines and mounting features with definition difficult to achieve in conventional injection-moulded parts.

Recommended procedure
- Remove supports in small sections with fine cutters; the perforated barrel jackets are very delicate.
- Test-fit each gun in its mounting position and check the magazine and grip orientation.
- Degrease the surface and apply a thin primer coat to preserve the barrel-jacket perforations.
- Finish metal areas in a dark tone with restrained edge highlights; a thin wash can enhance the raised detail.
- Use a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive; polystyrene cement will not bond the 3D print.
The plastic kit is not included.
Use model paints and primers and adhesives suitable for 3D-printed parts to complete the set.
