Hobby Boss 1/72 Messerschmitt Me 262A-2a is a plastic kit of a jet fighter-bomber for assembly. The Me 262 was the first jet combat aircraft built in series; the A-2a “Sturmvogel” version carried bomb racks under the nose and served mainly with bomber wing KG 51.
The Easy Assembly Authentic Kit has 44 parts, a cockpit and recessed panel lines. According to the manufacturer, drop tanks, rocket launchers or bombs can be chosen for the underfuselage. Decals cover 9K+FL of KG 51, as on the box, and 9K+BN of 5./KG(J) 51 at Schwäbisch Hall in 1944. The model is 147 mm long with a 173 mm wingspan. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
