1/72 Lancaster B Mk.III one-sided for Hasegawa
ASK masks for the Avro Lancaster B Mk.III in 1/72 scale, a one-sided self-adhesive set designed for the Hasegawa plastic kit. Mask groups named after the kit parts cover the cockpit, nose, turrets and other clear parts from the outside.
ASK designs the masks specifically for the parts of the Hasegawa Avro Lancaster B Mk.III kit in 1/72 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M72020 from the SCALE MASK range is densely filled with mask groups carrying the clear part numbers of the Hasegawa kit (for example Z2, X4, W5, V6 and V7) – for the canopy, the glazed nose, the turrets and the fuselage windows. A CLEAR PARTS section with small masks and a row of ring masks along the edge of the sheet complete it. The set is one-sided, for the outer side of the glazing in 1/72 scale.
The Lancaster B Mk III differed from the Mk I only in its engines: its Merlins were built in the USA by Packard, and externally it was otherwise indistinguishable. Modified Mk IIIs carried Barnes Wallis's bouncing bombs, for which the Lancaster was then the only suitable bomber.
