Special Hobby 1/72 Gloster Meteor PR Mk.10 “High-Altitude Photo-Recce Version” depicts the photo-reconnaissance variant of the British Gloster Meteor jet aircraft.
The Meteor was the first British jet fighter and the only Allied jet aircraft to see combat during World War II. The PR.10 variant was developed for high-altitude photo-reconnaissance: its armament was removed, and the aircraft carried cameras in the nose and rear fuselage. For modelers, this is an elegant post-war version of the Meteor with longer wings and a clean reconnaissance silhouette.
