IBG 1/72 Fw 190D-11 Sorau Factory Series (72533) is a plastic kit of a late version of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190D fighter. The kit is part of IBG’s Factory Series.
The aircraft
The Fw 190D – nicknamed “Dora” – was the version of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 powered by the liquid-cooled Jumo 213 inline engine instead of the BMW 801 radial, recognisable by its lengthened nose. The D-11 was one of the late variants of 1945, with a more powerful engine and armament concentrated in the wings. Only a small number were built.
