Hobby Boss 1/72 F6F-3 Hellcat is a plastic kit of a carrier-based fighter for assembly. From 1943 the Grumman F6F Hellcat replaced the Wildcat aboard American carriers and became the US Navy’s most successful carrier fighter in the Pacific; the F6F-3 was its first production version.
The Easy Assembly Authentic Kit has 25 parts, with a one-piece fuselage and wing. Decals cover an aircraft of VF-4 and one of VF-6 from the carrier USS Intrepid in 1944. The finished model is 142 mm long with a 180.6 mm wingspan. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
