1/72 Curtiss H-75N Hawk Royal Thai Air Force 1941-1944
Art Scale 1/72 Curtiss H-75N Hawk is a decal sheet for four Royal Thai Air Force fighters from 1941–1944, in silver and in a colourful three-tone camouflage.
This 1/72 Art Scale decal sheet offers four marking options for Royal Thai Air Force Curtiss H-75Ns. The first is a silver aircraft at Don Muang near Bangkok (1941), described on the sheet as the first one delivered. The other three wear brown, green and sand camouflage: an aircraft of 16 Squadron, 95 Wing, Don Muang (1941), one of 60 Squadron, fighter unit Pak-Tai, Udon airfield (1941), and one of 43 Squadron, 85 Wing, Don Muang (1944). Thai national insignia and unit badges are included.
The Hawk 75N was a simplified export version of the Curtiss Hawk 75 with fixed, spatted landing gear. Thailand used it in the Franco-Thai War and at the Battle of Prachuap Khiri Khan against the Japanese invasion.
