1/72 CAC CA-9 Wirraway ‘In training and combat’
Model of the Australian CAC CA-9 Wirraway trainer and combat aircraft in 1/72 scale. Used during World War II, it served both for training and combat operations in the Pacific.
Special Hobby 1/72 CAC CA-9 Wirraway is a plastic model of an Australian modification of the American Texan. The Wirraway was primarily used for continuing pilot training, but was also used in combat conditions for reconnaissance and attack operations, including target acquisition and marking. The aircraft were produced in several series, varying in equipment and detail.
The 1/72 scale kit includes PUR parts for a higher level of detail and decals for two different versions from training and combat deployment. The model is suitable for modellers with intermediate experience. The smaller scale makes it suitable for both display and diorama use. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
