Hobby Boss 1/48 P-47D Thunderbolt is a plastic kit of a fighter aircraft for assembly. The heavy, radial-engined Republic P-47D was one of the most widely used American fighters of World War II, serving both as an escort fighter and in the ground-attack role.
The Easy Assembly Authentic Kit depicts the late bubble-canopy version. Decals cover P-47D-30-RA “Big Ass Bird II” of Capt. Howard Park, 513th FS, 406th FG, and the P-47D-25 of Lt. Col. Francis Gabreski, 61st FS, 56th FG, June 1944. The model is 230 mm long with a 260 mm wingspan. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
