1/48 MiG-31 Foxhound

Hobby Boss 1/48 MiG-31 Foxhound is a plastic kit of a two-seat interceptor. The MiG-31 was developed as the successor to the MiG-25 and is a heavy two-seat interceptor designed for long flights at high speed. It has been in service since the early 1980s, first with the Soviet and later with the Russian air force.

According to the manufacturer the kit has more than 340 parts, metal undercarriage legs, rubber tyres and photo-etched details. Both canopies of the tandem cockpit can be displayed open. The painting guide offers blue 24 (with an alternative blue 61) and red 08 “Boris Safonov” of the 174th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
