Hobby Boss 1/48 Me 262 B-1a/U1 is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The B-1a/U1 was created by converting the two-seat Me 262 B-1a trainer into a night fighter. The second seat in the extended canopy was occupied by the radar operator, and the nose-mounted antenna array is the most recognisable feature of this version.
The manufacturer lists over 180 parts, including four clear canopy parts. The fuselage and wings are finely detailed, the gear bays are well defined and an optional metal part is provided for the nose gear area. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
