Hobby Boss 1/48 Me 262 A-1a/U3 is a plastic kit of a German jet reconnaissance aircraft. The Me 262 was the first operational jet fighter; the Luftwaffe flew it in the last year of the Second World War. The A-1a/U3 reconnaissance conversion carried cameras in a modified nose and served with reconnaissance units.
The kit includes cockpit and undercarriage bay parts, a clear canopy and separate camera windows. The metal nose-gear bay doubles as nose ballast. The decal sheet provides German national markings, a white number 2, stencils and an instrument panel decal. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
