1/48 Japanese UV cabin lights (set of 12) ASK 3D Print
ASK 200-A48036 is a set of twelve 3D-printed UV cockpit lights for Japanese Second World War aircraft in 1/48 scale. These small details bring the model's cockpit to life.
The ASK lights in 1/48 scale take the form of a round reflector with a recess for the glass, a swivel joint and a mounting foot. The set contains twelve pieces, enough for several cockpits or for types with multiple lamps. Even at this small size, the printed parts keep an accurate shape.
UV lamps were used in the cockpits of Japanese and other Second World War aircraft to light instruments with luminous dials at night; the ultraviolet light made the dials glow without dazzling the pilot. The set is intended for 1/48 models of Japanese aircraft of this period.
