Hobby Boss 1/48 Hurricane Mk.I is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was the RAF's most numerous fighter in the summer of 1940, and its pilots claimed the majority of victories in the Battle of Britain. Its rugged, partly fabric-covered structure and eight wing-mounted machine guns made it reliable and easy to repair.
Four grey sprues, one clear sprue and a photo-etched fret hold over 70 parts according to the manufacturer. The photo-etch provides the seat harness, masks cover the canopy glazing and the instruments have their own decals. The cockpit entry door and canopy can be built open. Markings cover LE-A (P2961) of No. 242 Sqn, UZ-F (R4101) of No. 306 Sqn, and RF-U (P3975) and RF-D (N2460) of No. 303 Sqn. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
