Hobby Boss 1/48 F-111A Aardvark is a plastic kit of a tactical bomber. The F-111A Aardvark was the first production version of the American variable-geometry tactical bomber with a side-by-side two-man crew. It entered USAF service in the late 1960s and proved itself in Vietnam in 1972 with low-level night strikes.
According to the Cybermodeler review the slats, spoilers and flaps are moulded deployed, so the model is built with the wings spread. The weapons bay and main wheel well are well detailed, the canopy can be built open or closed and the wheels have rubber tyres. Armament includes Mk.82 bombs and AIM-9 missiles. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
