1/48 Corsair MK.2

Hobby Boss 1/48 Corsair Mk.2 is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. Corsair Mk II was the British designation for F4U-1As supplied to the Fleet Air Arm. Their wingtips were clipped so the aircraft would fit the lower hangar decks of British carriers; otherwise the gull-winged airframe with its raised canopy matched the American original.

The kit contains over 190 parts according to the manufacturer, including clear cockpit parts. The engine and wheel wells are detailed. The model complements a Royal Navy collection as well as a line-up of Corsairs from different operators. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
