How to Achieve the Best Results:

• Preparation & Priming: Gently wash the 3D-printed parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove any residual support fluid. Prime the parts using a high-quality micro-filler primer (such as Mr. Surfacer 1200/1500 or AK Interactive Black Primer) to ensure absolute paint adhesion.

• Detail Painting: For hand-brushing smaller components like the control wheels and oxygen tank, Vallejo Model Color or AK 3G Acrylics are highly recommended due to their excellent coverage and smooth, self-leveling flow.

• Weathering: To make the crisp 3D structural details and rivets pop, apply an enamel-based wash such as Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color (Brown/Black) or AK Interactive Landing Gear Wash into the recesses.

• Photo-Etched Parts: Install the beautifully pre-printed color photo-etched instrument panel onto the 3D-printed console backing using a tiny amount of cyanoacrylate (CA) glue after your main cockpit painting and matte clear coats are fully dry.
