2 + 1
This 1/48 Art Scale decal sheet covers the German attack version of the Alpha Jet. It offers three options:
- Alpha Jet A, 41+50, JaboG 41, Luftwaffe, 1984
- Alpha Jet A, 40+86, JaboG 43, Luftwaffe, 1983 – with tiger stripes on the fin tip
- Alpha Jet A, 40+02, “Last Flight”, Manching, Luftwaffe, 1997 – with a German flag on the fuselage side
The Alpha Jet was developed jointly by Dassault and Dornier and first flew in 1973. The German Luftwaffe used the pointed-nose Alpha Jet A as a light attack aircraft, replacing the Fiat G.91 from 1979 and retiring the last examples in 1998.
