1/48 A6M2 [Mitsubishi Green] recommended for Tamyia
Yahu Model YMA4825 is a set of 1:48 scale colorized etched dashboards for Tamiya Mitsubishi A6M2 Type 21 Zero kit. The parts are pre-painted in authentic Mitsubishi Green and are ready for direct assembly without the need for further painting (JustStick technology). The kit is designed directly for Tamiya kits.
The Mitsubishi A6M2 Type 21 Zero was one of the most feared fighter aircraft in the Pacific at the time of its deployment. Its combination of superior maneuverability, long range, and relatively powerful armament made it a dominant force in the early years of the Pacific War. The Zero's cockpit dashboard reflected the Japanese approach to aircraft technology - functionality at the expense of pilot comfort, with a distinctive instrument layout and a specific interior colour scheme in a shade of Mitsubishi Green.
Yahu Model YMA4825 is a 1:48 scale photoetch set designed as a direct replacement for the plastic instrument panels from the Tamiya Mitsubishi A6M2 Type 21 Zero kit. The parts are made using a chemical etching technique from thin metal, which allows to capture details that the plastic casting cannot faithfully reproduce - the fine articulation of the instrument bezels, the relief of the controls and the realistic depth of the whole assembly. Pre-painting in an authentic Mitsubishi Green shade (JustStick technology) means that parts can be placed directly into the model after separation from the frame without the need for painting, with the instrument dials already printed in full colour. The kit is matched to the Tamiya kits by design and requires no modification or customisation.
