Das Werk DW35045 depicts a Volkswagen Type 181 fitted with a blue beacon in 1:35. The simple rear-wheel-drive utility car with an air-cooled engine is represented in service with military police, border guards, police or firefighters. The markings allow either a Bundeswehr setting or a civilian emergency-service diorama.
The kit includes a complete crew compartment, clear parts and pre-cut window masks. Doors and the front hood can be built open or closed. 3D-printed wheels and a radio set with receiver are specific inclusions; the radio equipment distinguishes this release from the DW35044 Standard kit.
Four decal options depict the training company of the Feldjäger school at Sonthofen in the early 1970s; a Bundesgrenzschutz command vehicle, 5. Grenzschutzabteilung, 1. Hundertschaft, Goslar, 1972; III. Landesbereitschaftspolizei Niedersachsen, Gorleben, 1980; and Florian Bremen 75/72-02 of the Bremen-Blumenthal volunteer fire brigade, 1982.
