1/32 TBM-3/TBF-1C double-sided express fit mask for Trumpeter
ASK Express Fit masks for the Trumpeter TBM-3/TBF-1C Avenger in 1/32 scale come in a double-sided version. Four sheets with masks numbered up to 144 cover the glazing inside and out.
ASK designed the four sheets as its own construction, directly for the glazing of the Trumpeter TBM-3/TBF-1C Avenger kit in 1/32 scale. Because of the large number of panes, set ASK 200-M32094 from the SCALE MASK range is split over four sheets. Two carry exterior masks identical to the one-sided set 200-M32093, the other two matching masks numbered above 85 for the inner side of the canopy, turret and window frames.
The Avenger made its combat debut at the Battle of Midway in June 1942 and flew from US Navy carriers until the end of the war. Besides torpedoes it carried bombs or depth charges in its bomb bay and also served in convoy protection. The masks are shaped for the Trumpeter kit in 1/32 scale.
